Oxfam Australia's Board sets policy and strategic goals that guide Oxfam Australia's operations.
The Board is made up of ten Ordinary Members of Oxfam Australia who are elected by other Ordinary Members, and up to four co-opted members. Each elected member sits a term of four years. Elections of half the Board take place every two years. Co-opted members sit for a term of two years.
Where necessary, the Board will set up committees to focus on particular issues. Board Members, Ordinary Members, staff and people with expert knowledge of the issues are able to provide input through these committees.
