The Right to a Sustainable Livelihood

Policy Serial No: END 2.1

People experiencing poverty and related injustice will realise their right to a sustainable livelihood. Specifically they will:

  1. Realise food and income security;
  2. Realise access to, protection of, and control over the natural resources on which they depend;
  3. Realise access to secure paid employment, dignified work conditions, labour rights;
  4. Be empowered to participate in and benefit from markets.
