Urban Adventure

What is the Rat Race?

The Rat Race is an exciting physical and mental urban adventure that involves teams of three running, riding, kayaking, climbing and abseiling across a course that’s only revealed to them hours before they begin.

The Rat Race is split into two parts, and the winning team must compete in both adventure challenge events. It is a combination of points and time that will determine the winner.

1. Mean Streets Prologue Only: A Saturday night, foot based event (5-8pm) that involves racing around the city, visiting as many checkpoints and completing as many challenges as they can.
2. Rat Race Adventure: Saturday night and all day Sunday. Complete the mean streets on the Saturday night and then on Sunday embark on an adventure race by bike that will take you all over  the city. Complete various challenges for points by bike, boat, foot and rope!
