Nike responds to our concerns about wages
In February NikeWatch News we wrote about The Girl Effect, a global campaign to 'create opportunities for girls'. The Nike Foundation is the main driver of The Girl Effect, surprising given Nike has refused to agree to a living wage standard for their workers.
Pacific Brands and Just Jeans supplier feels the heat
Following intense media scrutiny, a giant Hong Kong based company supplying Pacific Brands (Bonds) and Just Jeans has shown some willingness to discuss workers' rights.
