Volunteering
Volunteering with Oxfam Australia is available to all of our business partners. It provides a variety of benefits for your business including reinforcing the core values and culture of your organisation, and motivating your staff through the unique team building challenges that volunteering presents.
- Due to the large number of companies requesting volunteering opportunities for their staff, and the nature of our field work mainly in overseas and remote communities, our volunteering opportunities are mostly based around large events such as Oxfam TRAILWALKER. There are 600-800 individual and team volunteering opportunities during these events each year!
- National Volunteering opportunities are posted on the Oxfam National Volunteering database.
- SkillShare is a volunteer program supported by Oxfam Australia and aims to coordinate professional Volunteers to complete capacity building Projects with Not-For-Profit organisations.

Trailwalker
Oxfam TRAILWALKER is a major fund raising team challenge held annually in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane that involves teams of four walking across 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours. It has become extremely popular for businesses and corporate organisations, and is a fantastic team building activity. There are also corporate volunteering opportunities at each event.
