In 2000 Bendigo Bank and Oxfam Australia, through its then fully owned sudsidiary the Ethical Investment Trust, formed a strategic partnership to enable people to support the poverty alleviation and social justice work of Oxfam Australia through their everyday banking.
This unique cause partnership has enabled Bendigo Bank and their customers to raise over $6.5 million dollars for communities in need around the world.
The Bendigo Oxfam Australia Cash Management Account (BOACMA) is a flexible savings account, with at-call access, that offers competitive interest, calculated daily. It also allows those who deposit their funds to forgo some or all of their interest earnings to support Oxfam Australia's campaign and long-term development work.
In addition to the above Oxfam Australia also receives a commission from Bendigo Bank of up to 0.5%pa on the balance of all Bendigo Oxfam Australia Cash Management Accounts.
