Over 115,000 Australians have joined Missy Higgins, John Butler, the Adelaide Crows, and others who are calling on the Government to recognize Indigenous Australians’ right to lead a healthy life. Unfortunately, Indigenous Australians have a 17-year gap in life expectancy from non-Indigenous Australians. This gap can and must be closed within a generation. Here Missy and voices from Aboriginal health services share successful health initiatives and demonstrate why extra funding and community-control is essential in closing the 17-year life expectancy gap.

Everyone's getting on board the Close the Gap campaign – even the Adelaide Crows! In preparation for their match against Fremantle on Saturday 23 February, The Crows invited 50 Aboriginal children to a training session. Led by Andrew McLeod, the team had a round of footy and then signed the Close the Gap pledge. If the Crows can do it, so can you!
