Make Poverty History forum: climate change, poverty and development

Join Make Poverty History for an event that aims to inform and motivate action on climate change.

This will be a "hypothetical with a difference", facilitated by Ross Daniels. A diverse panel of speakers will paint the bigger picture on the human impacts of climate change, economic costs, energy systems, transitions to sustainability, and environmentally and socially just solutions to climate change and poverty.

As the audience, you will have the chance to ask questions, voice your views and ideas, and help to shape submissions from the forum to the Garnaut Review.

Free entry, Fairtrade tea, coffee and refreshments.

When: Tuesday 9 September, 6pm (refreshments), 6.30pm –8.30pm (forum)

Where: Steele Building, University of Queensland, St Lucia campus (maps and directions online – look for the ushers and signs at the ferry, bus and car parks)
