Oxfam Walk Against Want returns to its early community roots in 2007. Community groups will be running the event this year and will fundraise for Oxfam Australia in order to assist disadvantaged people in over 28 countries and in Indigenous Australia. Timor-Leste nutrition program

Oxfam Australia supports a nutrition program in Kader Obucmil village Timor-Leste. The lean season between harvests of crops like maize leaves up to 90% of the population without enough food to eat.

Ken Middleton
