2007 ACT walk

There were no April fools in sight at Commonwealth Park on Sunday 1 April 2007 where walkers from all over Canberra had come to help raise funds for people living in developing communities around the world. Setting off at 10am, participants took a leisurely stroll around Lake Burley Griffin and were fittingly rewarded for their efforts on return to the park with food and entertainment including local musicians, belly dancers, face-painting, a barbeque and a breakfast for those taking part in the workplace challenge. Congratulations to the ACT State Committee for bringing the community together for this event.
