Past walks

Thanks to the Tasmanian State Committee for bringing the community together and putting on two walk events on Sunday 4th May.

Hobart

On a beautiful Autumn day, walkers and woofers gathered on Parliament House Lawns and followed a scenic 5 km route through historic Battery Point to Sandy Bay, some going the 10 km to Nutgrove Beach.

Afterwards, they joined in the post walk festivities, f un, music and food at the Fair Trade Fiesta.

Launceston

From Royal Park, walkers followed the beautiful Cataract Gorge walkway to the First Basin and return.  Some continued on over the Suspension Bridge  to Duck Reach for the 10 km. challenge. Others took the Woof Against Want route to Heritage Forest. They shared a barbecue and songs.
