Fairtrade Coffee Break
What is Coffee Break?
Coffee Break is an afternoon or morning tea event that anyone can host in their home, school, workplace or community group, to support the use of Fairtrade products. It’s a great way of raising awareness of the unfair trade laws that keep coffee, tea and cocoa farmers and their communities poor. Supporting Fairtrade through Coffee Break is a way that you can help these farmers work their way out of poverty.
Oxfam Australia and the Fairtrade Association of Australia and New Zealand started the event as a way of encouraging the use of Fairtrade products in support of struggling farmers in developing countries.
