21 years of laughter and generosity
For 21 years, the generous fans of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival have donated to improve the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable people. And this year is no different.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), decades of armed conflict has forced thousands of people to flee for their lives. However, recent peace negotiations have allowed Oxfam’s rapid response team into the region to provide life-saving help to the people of the DRC.
This life-saving help comes in the form of tap stands that provide safe, clean drinking water, as well as hygiene kits containing soap, towels and basic toiletries that will save children from deadly disease.
Access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation is vital. It can save lives, keep families safe and give kids a chance for a happy, healthy future.
Your donation today can help save vulnerable families in their fight for survival.
Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. Your donation will be used in support of Oxfam's efforts around the world. These are a few of the many ways we work with poor communities improve their lives.
