End violence against women and girls.

Too many generations of
women bear the scars.

Enough is enough.

Let’s work together to
end violence against women and girls.

One in three women has experienced physical or sexual violence, usually at the hands of an intimate partner.
That’s one third of all women, worldwide.

Some women don’t survive family and sexual violence. But those who do — like Jasmin*, pictured above — carry the physical and emotional scars of their abuse with them for the rest of their lives. And while gender-based violence affects women first and foremost, it hurts the whole community.

Domestic violence against women is a global challenge of epic proportions. In PNG (Papua New Guinea), 2 in 3 women have been raped or assaulted.

Working with local partners, we’re giving survivors urgent support such as emergency shelter, as well as investing in long-term solutions that address the root causes of violence.

With your support, we can:

help provide women and children escaping violence with food, water and emergency shelter in a safe house.

help provide counselling, referral and legal support services for survivors of sexual assault in Papua New Guinea.

help deliver programs to men and boys in Papua New Guinea, designed to reduce violence and create a safer environment for women and children.

Please donate today to help break the cycle of violence and keep families safe from harm.
