Do you have curious children in your life?

We’ve got you covered. Our new children’s book can help you answer big questions such as ‘why is there war?’ and ‘why do some people go hungry?’.

This book is intended to give children the courage to question the unjust world and develop a sense of justice. It contains:

    • Answers to typical questions that a child will ask about the world.
    • An explanation that even if the world is sometimes unfair, we can approach others with empathy and mindfulness and actively help shape our environment.
    • Practical tips for children to feel like they are making a difference, no matter how small their actions.

This book is for all children and everyone who cares for them. It is intended to give children the courage to question the unjust world and develop a sense of justice. It explains that even if the world is sometimes unfair, we can approach others with empathy and mindfulness and actively help shape our environment.

By discussing the important issues you’ll have a way of explaining why this unfairness happens. Most importantly, you will be able to talk about issues in a way that children can understand and process safely.

Together, we can make the world a more equal place, for everyone.

Mum, why is there a war?
Grandad, why do some people not have enough to eat?
    Dad, why are there wars?
Why do some people need to leave their homes?

‘Why is the world unfair?’ helps the children in your life understand our world

“Mum, why is there a war?”
“Grandad, why do some people not have enough to eat?”

When children, with their keen powers of observation, ask such questions, we find ourselves in a difficult position to answer them. Even though we as adults have become accustomed to an unequal world, we generally want to protect our children from these difficult topics. It’s also very easy for caregivers to feel overwhelmed about how best to answer them.

Help the children in your life understand our world

Explaining topics like inequality to children can be tough. That’s why we developed ‘Why is the world unfair?’, an educational children’s book to help answer questions about war, hunger, refugees and extreme drought. It’ll help your little person grow and feel empowered to make a difference, too!
