From mosh pits to cooking kits: 3things on the road

It’s been all things go here at 3things.

Our street team braved the rain this summer and heading to the Big Day Out in Sydney to ask people: What are 3things that you can do to help change the world? We had all sorts of responses given on our infamous chalk boards, from the heartfelt local actions to massive global endeavours.

Keeping in the festival spirit, in March we ran a competition where all of our facebook friends had the opportunity to win tickets to WOMAD, Golden Plains or Playground Weekender. How? By submitting videos, artworks, websites, animations, speeches, quotes and anything that inspired them to help change the world. And we received some truly inspiring entries. From Sydney to Brisbane and Adelaide- Melbourne was our next destination. The street team ditched the ponchos and mosh pits for vintage clothes and up-cycled goodies, when they headed to the finders keepers markets over the weekend.

Teaming up with the Oxfam Shop, the street team received a lot of love from people who added their 3things to the mix and also bought some beautiful fair trade products while they were at it. Speaking of fair trade, to kick of the month of May we’re turning out attention to Fair Trade Fortnight and will be running a competition to win an awesome cooking start up kit, with cookbooks, spices, aprons, pots and of course loads of fair-trade chocolate and coffee thanks to the Oxfam Shop. To enter is as easy as uploading your fair trade choice to our facebook wall during fair trade fortnight. Dooooo it.
