“Do you hear that? That’s the sound of bombing...Every morning, I go out full of fear."
Fidaa goes to work on her farm even when bombs are falling. She doesn’t have a choice. Her children’s hunger won’t wait until peace returns to Gaza.
Fidaa is a farmer and a mother of three living in Gaza. Since her husband was killed in 2012, she’s been the sole provider for her family. But in October 2023, everything changed once more.
Fidaa’s house was bombed, and she and her family had to leave everything behind.
When her family could finally return, Fidaa found their land was still workable. This small solace meant she could still feed her children. But with border crossings closed due to Israeli Government-imposed restrictions, supplies are difficult to find, and often unaffordable.
“We struggle to get farming supplies. No hoses, no seeds, no fertilizers, no chemicals."
That’s where you come in. By donating today, you can help provide the resources Fidaa needs to grow food for her family’s survival.
Every day, Fidaa faces circling drones and the fear of bombs dropping and breaking Gaza’s fragile ceasefire. But she’s determined to rebuild her family’s life. Will you donate today and help women like her in Gaza?
