Growing food in a changing climate

In August, Shirley Laban (Oxfam) and Mala Silas (CARE International in Vanuatu), visited Australia to share their stories on how local communities are meeting the challenges of climate change.

In Melbourne, Hobart, Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney, these amazing women spoke up for the need for governments to move forward on climate change.

Oxfam and CARE International in Vanuatu are both part of the Vanuatu NGO Climate Change Adaptation Program – a consortium of local and international organisations working together across nine islands of Vanuatu to support communities with building resilience to climate change.
