Donate to help families in Vanuatu survive the climate crisis

Donate to help our neighbours in Vanuatu

Vanuatu is one of the world’s most disaster-prone countries. This small nation is just a few hours from Australia; but our Ni-Vanuatu neighbours face incredible challenges and hardship.

Climate change is increasing the destructive power of tropical cyclones that batter Vanuatu. Rising sea levels threaten entire communities, and prolonged droughts make it difficult to grow food and access clean water.

With three quarters of the population living off the land, families are barely able to meet their basic needs.

The Ni-Vanuatu people have done so little to contribute to the crisis, but they are the first to feel its devastating effects.

No one should face nature’s fury alone. Please, donate today to help vulnerable families survive the climate crisis.

Your donation will be used in support of Oxfam’s efforts around the world. This story is one of the many ways we work with communities living in poverty to improve their lives.
