Big W Australia recently announced the next step in their commitment to a living wage for the women who make our clothes.

The brand has created milestones for their living wage commitment. These milestones cover 2022 and 2023 and include goals such as training relevant teams and suppliers on their ACT living wage commitments. This is a great next step for Big W and we applaud them on their continued commitment to living wages.

They join a growing list of brands who are progressing in their journey to ensure the women who make our clothes are paid enough to cover the basics of living.

None of this could happen without our amazing community who care about What She Makes. Together, let’s continue to stand with the women who make our clothes, so they no longer have to live in poverty.
