You can help Shobnam’s wishes come true

Seven-year-old Shobnam lives with her family in the Bangladeshi slum Horijon Polli.

With limited access to clean water and toilets, life is hard. There are few toilets and no garbage collection in the slum, and the drains that line the streets are often clogged with waste.

Shobnam and the other children in her slum have to live among the filthy water and risk diseases like pneumonia and diarrhoea.

This Christmas, you can give children like Shobnam access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation. Your gift can save lives, keep families safe and give kids like Shobnam a chance for a happy, healthy future.

Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. Your donation will be used in support of Oxfam’s efforts around the world. These are a few of the many ways we work with poor communities improve their lives.
