Ask Australian companies to ensure safety in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, dangerous factory conditions are commonplace in the clothing industry. The minimum wage is also amongst the lowest in the region. In addition to joining the Bangladesh Fire and Building Safety Accord, Australian clothing companies should publish the locations of their Bangladeshi clothing suppliers. Publishing this information allows independent organisations, unions and researchers to verify workers’ conditions in these factories.

Keep the Mekong River flowing freely

Join scientists, ecologists and people all around the world to call for a 10-year moratorium on the building of dams on the lower Mekong mainstream. Join the movement to keep the lower Mekong River flowing freely.
