Families in Far West Nepal are in the grip of a water crisis — I hope you can help us respond.
Since the country was devastated by earthquakes in 2015, we’ve helped more than half a million people recover in hard-hit communities. But there’s still urgent work to do in other parts of Nepal.
In Far West Nepal nearly 3 in 4 people do not have access to clean water.
Out of necessity, families survive on dirty water. But dirty water harms every aspect of their daily lives — from their health, to their children’s ability to thrive at school. Living without reliable and easy-to-access clean water also keeps them, especially women and girls, in poverty.
Oxfam is in Nepal giving clean water to families and improving sanitation.
But we can’t do this work without you. Your generous donation can transform lives in Nepal.
All eligible donations up to a combined total of $160,000, made by 30 June 2018, will be matched. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible, and you will be immediately emailed a tax donation receipt. Your donation will be used in support of Oxfam’s efforts around the world. This story is one of the many ways we work with poor communities to improve their lives.
