Lyn Morgain

Role: Chief Executive

Areas of responsibility: Strategic direction, operational management, policy and advocacy lead and member of global confederation

Lyn Morgain is the Chief Executive of Oxfam Australia. As leader of Oxfam Australia, Lyn oversees the delivery of a broad range of long-term development programs, advocacy campaigns and humanitarian responses. Lyn has spent her career advocating for the rights of structurally disadvantaged people and communities. She is passionate about peer-based activism and community mobilisation. Within the global Oxfam community, Lyn holds the role of executive champion for the collective work on race, representation and equity. Lyn is a member of the Australian Council for International Development Board. She is a member of the Trust Board for Oxfam in the Pacific.

Prior to her role at Oxfam Australia, Lyn was the Chief Executive of cohealth, a leading Australian community health organisation. She is a strong advocate for the leadership of Australia’s First Peoples and the need for Voice, Treaty and Truth. Lyn is also passionate about the rights of incarcerated people and those reliant on the State. Lyn has been an executive leader in public policy advocacy, not-for-profit and local government organisations for several decades. She is committed to ensuring purpose-led organisations are sustainable and can demonstrate a wholistic commitment to equity, impact and ecological limits.

Lyn is a sought-after speaker, writer, facilitator and chair, enlivening and encouraging discussion of challenging content, with a sense of accountability, equity, respect and care.

Rod Goodbun

BSW, MGPP

Role: Program Director

Areas of responsibility: International development, humanitarian strategies, First People’s program and public engagement

Rod Goodbun is currently the Interim Programs Director for Oxfam Australia. Rod has over 30 years of experience working in non-government and government strategy, policy and programs across the areas of health, housing, First Peoples, environment, climate change and international development. With a commitment to social justice and human rights driving his work, Rod joined Oxfam Australia in 2021.

Andrew Buchanan

Role: Director of Fundraising and Resource Growth

Areas of responsibility: Fundraising and supporter engagement

Andrew Buchanan joined Oxfam Australia in August 2019.

Andrew has excelled in brand, marketing and communications positions across a number of market sectors for 20 years. With a passion for supporter service, innovation and insight driven decision-making, Andrew has led significant fundraising growth agendas for a number of large Australian Not-for-Profit organisations including Mission Australia and Cancer Council.

Andrew is passionate about Oxfam’s rights based development approach and its commitment to transparency and accountability to all of its stakeholders including its incredible supporters.

Tahj Richardson

Role: Interim Director Strategy and Innovation

Areas of responsibility: Strategic planning, organisational collaboration, change management

Tahj has two decades of experience as a strategic leader driving organisational development and cultural transformation within the professional services and public utility sectors.

Tahj is guided by an unwavering passion for creating impactful change, coupled with a deep desire to harness innovation to develop lasting solutions.  Committed to transparency, accountability and continuous learning, Tahj joined Oxfam in 2022 enabling a redirect of her capabilities into a purpose-led environment.

Karen O’Duil

FCMA, CGMA

Role: CFO

Areas of responsibility: Financial strategy and sustainability, financial reporting and governance, business partnering and transactional services

Karen has over 20 years of experience working in private, government and NFP organisations.  She is passionate about the finance function and building a higher performance teams. She balances her expertise in financial and management accounting, reporting and analysis, financial control and compliance, with driving business outcome’s, supporting strategic goals, while remaining true to Oxfams mission.

Karen joined Oxfam in May 2023.

Chrisanta Muli

FCMA, CGMA

Role: Director Programs and Transformation

Areas of responsibility:  International development, humanitarian programs, strategic planning, cross-agency collaboration

Chrisanta is an impact-driven feminist and is passionate about gender equality and social justice. With 20 years of experience in the international development sector as both a practitioner and academic, she has worked as a consultant for several NFP organisations. She has also been a senior lecturer at various Australian universities.

For the past four years, Chrisanta has served as the CEO of One Girl, an organisation whose mission is to work and walk with girls and their communities to break down barriers that girls face in accessing quality education.
